I just wanted to let everyone know, and pay special attention because this may affect your characters lives.
We now have four detectives in CKPD What does this mean for your character? Well, what it means is, if your character commits a crime, and one of the detectives read it, they can opt to open a forced thread. Meaning; If you are at a party and you post about murder, drugs, underage drinking, a detective can get a call about it, and show up to deliver some justice.
Want an example?
Let's take the brew Crew. They party. We know they smoke weed, snort coke, etc. Whatever kids do these days. If their having a party and a neighbor calls, well, let's just say that a detective can show up at the house, if they see underage drinking, they have the right to enter and search for illegals.
Not good enough?
Okay, let's say your speeding down the road going somewhere. If you don't post a clean get away i.e.
Speeding felt fantastic but she couldn't help but wonder what if? What if she had done this years ago without remorse or good behavior holding her back?
Okay, so a detective can come along and force a thread on your character. Give you a speeding ticket, and send you on your way, or if you posted you were drinking, a ticket for that or maybe a night in jail.
What you should post, is:
Speeding felt fantastic but she couldn't help but wonder what if? What if she had done this years ago without remorse or good behavior holding her back? Good thing she didn't get pulled over for speeding.
So, let this be a warning. If you get a forced thread placed on your character, there is nothing you can do about it. You will have to post your way out of it.
